calling card

oh and figured out my calling card finally! stupid bitch was so complicated but now im in love with it!
So today was the first day of classes and here is what i learned

1. socrates was the first philosopher - im going to put that in my brain cause i was called on to answer that question and first name that came to my head was aristotle than i was wrong duh and my mind went blank and i couldnt remember what to say to probably i will never forget this.

2. nobody cared about the chinese lives - father made that a point numerous times today in class.

thats what i remember from class today.

3. what i learned from walking on the streets - be quick on your toes. A bike rider ran into me today - that was fun.

I guess nothing to crazy happened to me today...i had class then went grocery shopping which was kinda tight cause i dont really know what i bought cause everything is in german so hopefully i like it. A group of us went wandering around the city and took some pretty awesome pictures outside the maison de plaisure. We cooked some dinner and watched a movie about hitler and now im ready to peace out and go to sleep!

oh yeah and my first pub was fabulous! oh and so was the soccer game in the city...we got caught it a huge rain storm and were all dripping wet but still i loved every minute of it!

First day in salzburg

so its my first real day in salzburg. I dont count yesterday cause i was so tired I dont even really remember it. The flight was good though and the jet leg didnt get me cause i slept fabulously! Tonight I should too since we walked the whole city of salzburg today plus 2 mountains in about 5 hours.

Salzburg is gorgeous and i just love it here! everything is so cute and beautiful! I saw lots of churchs and lots of stairs haha. First we walked through the city and across the river to the base of our first mountain. We climbed HELLA til I thought i was gonna pass out cause it is like 1000 degrees outside and we were all hungry. But the view was amazing and im thinking it was worth the near fainting experience. Then we started to walk our way down the hill and almost made it to the bottom but it was shut off cause a tree fell over the walk way so Fr. Art (our prof. and leader) led us back up the mountain to find a way to get out - that i could have done without.

Then we got to eat lunch in the town by lots of cute little markets and fruit stands and head back towards campas but Fr. thought on our way back it would be a good idea to climb another mountain to look at a church...good thing it was pretty!

Tonight we are going back to the city to watch the soccer game on a big screen and have some austain beer :) I love salzburg!

hm this blog kinda sucks after i just read it but i dont know what else to say...I saw horse poop in the middle of the street today which was weird maybe but i dunno. Maybe my blogs will get better with practice.
